ACTIVITIES

For those wanting a bit of Snow Play, there are two toboggan parks where you can build snowmen, have a snowball fight or race toboggans.

You can also make friends with husky sled dogs or try your hand at snow-shoeing.

There are plenty of off-snow activities too, including BullerAirzone trampolines, indoor rock climbing, indoor sports hall, cinema, day spa, alpine museum and a plethora of cafes, bars and restaurants all within walking distance in the village.

THE VILLAGE

The main chairlift Bourke St Express is used to access majority of the runs and is located smack bang in the Village Square. Buses run from Melbourne (235km), Mansfield (34kms) and Mirimbah (mountain base, 28kms) to Horeshill car park (2km) or straight to the Village.

Most accommodation is walking distance from the Village bus depot but some are alongside the Bourke Street run so require an oversnow taxi to help you and your luggage get up the hill.

The highest point of Mt Buller Summit is 1804m above sea level and the Village elevation is 1600m above sea level. The mountain is configured around the village where accommodation houses, apartments, cafes, bars and restaurants are all situated. There are over 7000 beds on-mountain with ski-in ski-out capabilities when the snow gods are kind. There are also accommodation options in the buzzing town Mansfield (45min) and Merrijig (30min).
